Accessibility Information
Visiting our View Street office
The TAPS Victoria Office is located in Downtown Victoria at 828 View Street. We are in a brick building with dark green metal awnings that is surrounded by a black iron fence. There is a large blue and white decal of the TAPS logo on the front window.
Our office is wheelchair accessible, and our washroom is wheelchair accessible and gender-inclusive. There is a gentle slope leading from the sidewalk to our front door. We do not have an automatic door opener on the outside of the building – if you require assistance, please give our front desk person a wave or ring the doorbell.
Paid street parking is typically available along View Street and is enforceable during all of our open hours. The closest City of Victoria parkade is the View Street Parkade. Unfortunately, we do not have access to our own free parking.
Our waiting area is small – when we are experiencing higher volume (ie. during tax season from March through May) we may limit the number of people who can be in the waiting area at one time and request that you wait outside.
Visiting our Dunsmuir Street office
The TAPS Nanaimo Office is located on the 5th floor in Downtown Nanaimo at 495 Dunsmuir Street. To enter the building, there is an intercom under the awning “Office Tower”. Please dial 502 on the intercom and a staff member will give you access to the building.
There are 2 elevators available - our office is on the left once you exit to the 5th floor.
Free street parking is available on the streets in front and adjacent to the building. There is paid parking stalls enforced by Robbins Parking on Albert Street.
By Appointment only.
